Verse 1:
A mighty fortress is our God
A bulwark never failing,
Protecting us with staff and rod
His power all prevailing
What if the nations rage
And surging seas rampage
What through the mountains fall
The Lord is God of all
On earth is not His equal
Verse 2:
The waters of His goodness flow
Throughout His holy city
And gladden hearts of those who know
His tenderness and pity
Through nations stand unsure
God’s kingdom shall endure
His power shall remain
His peace shall ever reign
Our God, the God of Jacob
